Party favors

Party favors are a nice way to thank your guests for attending, reciprocate for their thoughtful presents, and send them on their way with their own "present" from your party. Party favors don’t have to be throwaway items or hum drum birthday tokens. You can have party favors that the guests will enjoy as much at the party as when they go home.

Here are some ideas to get you started:

Party photos – Get a kid’s digital cameras, let the birthday child and his / her guests take pictures. Print out / Email the party photos as keepsakes to all guests.

T-shirts – Buy a number of t-shirts or (TIP: Paintball T-Shirts we be super cool!) as favors. Get some fabric markers. Let each child sign each other shirts and take home a memento from the paintball party.

It's a good idea to have a couple extra favor bags for unexpected guests and siblings of guests who stay for the party. Be sure to make a favor bag for your child and any of his/her siblings who will want one

Fun Foods for a Paintball Party:

We do have snacks and refreshments for sale, but here are some great outdoor party food ideas:

  • Pizza
  • Sandwiches ( see the Xtreme skateboard sandwich below)
  • Chips or Crackers
  • Carrots (baby) with ranch dressing
  • Snack mix or Cookies
  • Seedless grapes
  • Burgers or Hot Dogs
  • Paintball themed Birthday Cake

Xtreme Skateboard Sandwich

Turn an ordinary sandwich into and xtreme snack!

  • Make sandwiches with kid favorite fillings (PBJ, cheese, ham or turkey)
  • Remove the crusts and then cut in half.
  • Trim the edges so that they are rounded like a skateboard.
  • To add wheels and axles use cut carrot sticks and whole black olives.
Place an olive on the ends of two carrot sticks and lay the sandwich
on top of both carrots (olives are the wheels, carrots are the axles).

Siblings

Let siblings invite a special friend to play so they won´t feel left out. They can either play with or apart from the party.

Be Prepared

Birthday parties are historic and special! Always remember to make sure the camera and/or camcorder is working before the party. Buy extra film and/or videotape before the party. And, check batteries for the camera and/or camcorder (maybe have some extras on hand).

Camera Tips

Extra Cameras: If possible have two or three people taking pictures with different cameras just in case the film doesn´t develop right or you put the film in wrong.

New Camera: If you are using a new camera to film the party make sure to develop at least one roll of film before the big event. This allows you to iron out any kinks that you may experience as you use the camera for the first time.

Camcorders: If you are using a camcorder always make sure that it is not filming when it is not supposed to be. No one likes watching a wall for two hours, and you might run out of tape when the birthday candles are about to be blown out!
